Into The Blue

Two Oceans Aquarium

This was my first visit to the aquarium, seriously do not know why it took me this long but it was an incredible experience. There is a display of various sea life namely; Nemos, African Corls, Queen Corls, Floral Moray Eel, Coral Reef, Lionfish, Rays, Josephs, Cold Reef, Giant Spider Crab, Juvenile Ragged-tooth Sharks, Pufferfish, South African Butterflyfish, Sea Fans, Soles, Klipfish, Dark Shyshark, Penguins, Zebra fish, White Musselcracker, Galjoen, Dageraad, Cape Stumpnose, Maasbanker, Roman, White Stumpnose, Wit Steenbros, Red Stumpnose and many more, a very good reason to visit the aquarium of course as you get to view them all. This day I obtained so much knowledge about sea animals and how they survive both within their natural and the aquarium environment as living patterns can be affected and would therefore vary. The sea life on display at the aquarium are kept separately for a couple of days in order for those already living within the exhibition to become used to the newly arrived sea life within an exhibition.

I feel it is important to learn new things and educate those around me. I was fortunate enough to have observed  the feeding of the African Penguins and they surely are winsome animals.

I highly recommend this as a must do activity when in Cape Town. Animals are intriguing but it is vital to obtain more knowledge of how we can keep them alive and safe.
