Cango Wildlife Ranch

Aren't animals fascinating creatures

They are beautiful in their own nature and have various characteristics that allure us into being curious about their ways. I visited the Cango Wildlife Ranch, which is just a few kilometres outside of Oudtshoorn  before approaching the Cango Caves in the Karoo. At this ranch they have a variety of wildlife, namely: White Bengal Tiger, Cheetah, African White Lion, Crocodile, Flamingo, Bats,Snakes, Bat-Eared Fox, Cape Porcupine, Swainson Lorikeet, Black-Capped Lory, Red Lory, Blue Duiker, Green Imperial Pigeon, Violet Turco and Angulate Tortoise. One therefore obtains so much knowledge about these animals and it is thereby very beneficial. It was amazing seeing all these animals and quite mesmerising as well. It definitely is a must visit attraction for all the animal lovers and  for those who are simply curious.

Concluding note: Keep animals safe and Say "No" to animal cruelty.

Cango Caves and The Oudtshoorn Ostrich Farm

The Cango Caves are purely gorgeous and give one a definite sense of tranquility. A perfect haven I must add. Found this really cool curio shop there and they have such amazing art and craft, so if you're into art you would love it. The Ostrich Farm was amazing, seeing the big bird in it's environment and actually sitting on it was a great experience.  I was however a bit skeptical about trying out Ostrich meat for the first time but it surely was delicious. After the guided tour, they had an Ostrich race and it was so much fun.
